On May 20, the Dialogue between the CPC and the six sister parties in Southern Africa was held at Tanzania’s Mwalimu Julius Nyerere Leadership School. Liu noted that, over the years, the CPC and the six sister parties have forged an unbreakable brotherhood in the fight against imperialism and colonialism and blazed a distinctive path of cooperation in the journey of development and rejuvenation. Against a complex and grave international landscape, further deepening solidarity and cooperation between the CPC and the six sister parties meets the shared aspirations of the people of China and the six Southern African countries and aligns with the global trend of unity and self-strengthening among the Global South. The unveiling ceremony for the Research Centre on Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era was held at the Mwalimu Julius Nyerere Leadership School on the same day.
Samia Suluhu Hassan, Chairperson of the Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) and President of Tanzania, sent a congratulatory message on the establishment of the Research Centre and Liu Haixing, attended the ceremony, together with leaders of the six sister parties.
Asha-Rose Migiro, Secretary General of the CCM, read out President Hassan’s congratulatory letter to Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee and Chinese President, on the establishment of the Research Centre. Hassan stated that since its completion and inauguration in 2022, the Mwalimu Julius Nyerere Leadership School has played an inspiring role in fostering leadership, deepening policy research and promoting African cooperation. On May 18, the inauguration ceremony for the Xi Jinping Diplomatic Thought Studies Unit at the Tahrir Centre for Studies and Research was in Cairo. Ma said that China will continue to firmly support Nicaragua in safeguarding national sovereignty and dignity. The China-Egypt Political Parties Roundtable Dialogue Held
Cairo, May 18th (IDCPC) — The China-Egypt political parties roundtable dialogue was held here today. With the theme of pooling wisdom and strength of political Parties, advancing the building of a China-Egypt and China-Arab community with a shared Future for a new era, the event was attended by Liu Haixing, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, and heads of 11 political parties and organizations, including the Nation’s Future Party, the Homeland Protectors Party, the National Front Party, the Republican People’s Party and the Social Democratic Party.
Liu noted, the global changes unseen in a century are accelerating and the international balance of power is undergoing profound adjustments.
