I am from Vancouver,Canada and i wanted to say that i learned in the 1970s what China was like before the Revolution and what it is like now.I also learned what Tibet was like before 1951 and what it is like now. When people gets to study what Socialism is like and compares it to Capitalism they find out that people gets Freedom through Socialism not Capitalism.
Not everyone in Canada or other capitalist countries gets to learn about Socialism. These days People got more of a chance to learn about Socialism than they had in the 1970s.Hopefully a lot more people will decide that Socialism is the way of the future. The world depends on it.
“As socialists, we are opponents of the Jews, because we see in the Hebrews the incarnation of capitalism, of the misuse of the nation’s goods.” — Joseph Goebbels
‘Socialism’ and ‘Capitalism’ are just two words. There are as many types of Socialism, and as many types of Capitalism, as there are seas and rivers in the world.
The problem is always the same: the level of insanity or sanity of the bureaucratic apparatus and the spirit of the time (the zeitgeist).
It’s quite simple: in these modern times, the èlite society (the so-called educated people – or maybe should be better the programmed people -) and the bureaucracies (the so-called establishment or deep state – not dolls like Mr. Justin Trudeau nor Mr. Mario Draghi – mine -) that mark the rhythm of the days in the Decadent Wild Wild West are totally psychopathic, sociopathic and nihilistic. The result is what we see every day on our streets.
It is a pity that the full story was not told. Tibet had been a Chinese province since the 12th century. it was granted autonomy by the Chinese government. In 1949 the Dali Llama visited Mao Tsedong in Beijing and was appointed governor of Tibet province. He promised to abolish serfdom and bring Tibet’s law into line with the rest of China. He was given a large budget. He ignored his promises, and used the government funds to enrich his own family. When he was visited by a delagation from Beijing he could not hide the lack of progress so he had the delegation mirdered and he and his family fled to Undia with as much gold as he could carry. He became the darling of the CIA who paid him one million dollars a year to foment unrest in Tibet and spread anti-China propaganda. He lived in luxury in Switzerland surrounded by very dubious right wing friends. The Free Tibet movement raised millions in donations across the western world and this kept this odious man and his family in luxury
