Yusuf Maitama Tuggar said that Nigeria-China relations have a solid foundation. Wang Yi congratulated Brazil on successfully hosting the Meeting of BRICS Ministers of Foreign Affairs / International Relations and the session for Ministers of Foreign Affairs / International Relations from BRICS members and partner countries, and on its role as the chair country for the first grand reunion of the BRICS family. All participating parties unanimously agreed that rampant unilateral protectionism undermines the free trade system, harms the legitimate rights and interests of countries, and disrupts the stability of international industrial and supply chains. This is not what a responsible major country should do.
